WYSDM CEO ALAN ATKINSON TO ADDRESS MANAGEMENT OF UTILITY COMPUTING AT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT WORLD

NEW YORK, NY — Sep 5, 2006 —Alan Atkinson, CEO of WysDM Software, the leading provider of innovative data protection management (DPM) solutions, will deliver a presentation on “Managing Utility Computing: Promise and Problems” at the Infrastructure Management World conference on September 13, 4-4:30 p.m. in Scottsdale, Arizona. Atkinson’s presentation will address the promised benefits of utility computing, such as better flexibility, increased operational efficiency and lower management costs, as well as the challenges associated with shared infrastructure.

Utility computing requires an entirely new level of management software that understands deviations from normal behavior, the ability to provide chargebacks and enforce service level agreements, and predictive trending that can find problems before they occur. Without this functionality, the promise of utility computing will be difficult to fulfill.

Conference attendees are invited to Atkinson’s presentation, as well as visit the WysDM booth #G1 to learn more.
